Description
Item Details:
- Pure, natural honey from the hives of the Department of Entomology at Michigan State University
- Honey comes in 1 pound plastic jar
- This honey is made on the campus of MSU from native wildflowers, alfalfa, clover, and basswood. This raw honey has not been processed and contains all of the natural nutrients and enzymes of pure honey. It is pleasing and mild in taste with a light to medium amber color.
- Proceeds from the sale of all honey go back to the Department of Entomology to support teaching and research activities.
- Because of the lack of heat and filtration, our honey will crystallize easier than those purchased from the supermarket. Crystallized honey is not spoiled honey. Occasionally due to crystallization honey will ferment because crystallization increases water content right next to the sugar crystals.
