#8 countersink is a 7/64” drill with a countersink diameter of 5/16. This would use a 5/16 plug cutter
#10 countersink is a 1/8” drill with a countersink diameter of 3/8”. This would use a 3/8 plug cutter
#12 countersink is a 1/8” drill with a countersink diameter of 7/16”. This would use a 7/16 plug cutter
